At my home for three-legged dogs and their pawrents, Tripawds.com, we like to say that "it's better to hop on three legs than limp on four!" And as your patients will see, living on three legs ain't no thing to us pups! It's the people who need the help coping, which is why my pawrents started this pawesome community.

Never underestimate the power of Dog. We can do anything, even have a great life as a Tripawd/

While working at the CSU vet hospital, I was ever amazed at the resiliency of dogs. Seeing how they could adapt to losing a limb so quickly was quite astonishing!

I recall there was a video that was shown to clients who were deciding about amputations. It would be a difficult thing to decide, for sure, but seeing these videos of happy, 3 legged dogs is so helpful!
